EMDR Consultation for Clinicians

Build confidence, clarity, and skill in your EMDR work.

You Don’t Have to Figure This Out Alone

You’ve completed your EMDR training and understand the model—but when it comes to applying it in real sessions, things don’t always feel clear.

You might find yourself:

  • Avoiding EMDR because you’re worried about what to do if something doesn’t go according to script?

  • Feeling caught off-guard when resourcing interventions don’t work in session?

  • Feeling overwhelmed after an intake and not knowing where to start?

  • Feeling isolated in your practice?

If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone. Many clinicians feel this gap between training and face to face application.

Meet Tammy Leininger

Hi! I’m Tammy Leininger, an EMDR Certified Therapist and Consultant-in-Training. I’m so excited that you’re interested in investing in yourself, your clients, and deepening your EMDR knowledge and practice.

My intention with both group and individual EMDR consultation is to build your confidence in the EMDR model and its 8 phases while also helping you find flexibility to meet clients where they are in a way that feels authentic for you.

Experience & Approach

I’ve been using EMDR since I was trained in 2014 and have been honored to treat children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings.

I often use the IFS + EMDR Integrated Model and have found that working with a consultant with real-life experience is invaluable. Consultation gives you the opportunity to see how EMDR interventions can work in real-world situations and how they can be adapted to meet the needs of your clients.

My experience includes using EMDR:

  • In both short-term and long-term models of care

  • For trauma

  • For complex trauma

  • For anxiety

  • With children and adolescents

  • With military members and veterans

  • With military families

I’d love to help you, too.

Ways to Work Together

There are a few ways we can work together depending on your needs and goals:
